Trains and boats and planes

AnElephantCant go on a choo-choo
Apparently that’s just not allowed
We think that you’ll find
His considerable behind
Makes him stand out a bit from the crowd

It seems they don’t even let horses
Ride on the trains ‘cos they say
If you’ve got four feet
You can run down the street
On public transport you get in the way

So dogs are allowed if on leashes
Or anything you can put in a box
So squirrels or mice
Bed bugs or head lice
And they’re fine with our friend Phil the Fox

It does seem a bit arbitrary
To carry commuters or football supporters
But we don’t take the hump
We’re a big heffelump
It’s not like we’re wee lambs to the slaughter

About AnElephantCant

An artist/writer/poet combination whose blogs reflect an approach to life that celebrates nature and takes a tongue-in-cheek view of most issues. So you get rhymes and doodles, photographs and comment. Irreverent and irrelevant. Occasionally funny, sometimes serious, mostly pointless.

AnElephant has my deepest sympathy…how dare they say he can’t ride a train! It’s a outrage I tell you! 😉 And I agree with meme….your readers want to know about your art 😀

It is terrible when you have to google “heffelump” to remember where you last read it.

Poohy. You are supposed to be making me feel young and beautiful.
    Bad bad elephant!

You can redeem yourself by responding more about your art work. The How and What etc. But please no WHY. It would be impossible to explain the WHY.

Go on, say something, even if it's rude!
