Oh! what a tangled worldwideweb we weave

AnElephantCant claim that he’s technical
Behind his big ears he may be a bit wet
But as a general rule
He is nobody’s fool
When it comes to the old internet

But he is also a wee bit old-fashioned
Some might even say he’s contrary
He does like to pop
Into a book shop
Or spend an hour in the local library

When he wants to converse with his buddies
He prefers to do that face to face
He thinks it groovy
To go to a movie
Rather than to watch films in deep etherspace

When he goes shopping he walks down the High Street
So he can see the things he wants to buy
The Herald for his news
His friends for their views
It is more fun to discuss eye to eye

So he does not need Facebook or Twitter
He prefers a nice walk with his dog
But when it rains or it snows
To his laptop he goes
And he sits there and writes this daft blog

About AnElephantCant

An artist/writer/poet combination whose blogs reflect an approach to life that celebrates nature and takes a tongue-in-cheek view of most issues. So you get rhymes and doodles, photographs and comment. Irreverent and irrelevant. Occasionally funny, sometimes serious, mostly pointless. https://anelephantcant.me/

When the last rhyme has been rhymed
Back in primordial slime we’ve climbed
The elephant will still be primed
    For writing words well timed

    I give up. 😦

I think it most definitely adds charm to AnElephants eccentric character that he is old fashioned. 😉 It certainly makes one ponder one small thing….exactly how does AnElephant type? 😀

Go on, say something, even if it's rude!
