Requiem for an Angel

And Nature Weeps

And Nature Weeps

Today there is no humour
Today we breathe our fears
Today brings only heartache
Immersed in floods of tears

One of life’s great tenets
Is that we all must die
Today we look at who has gone
And ask the question why

We see bright youth removed too soon
We hear the song too quickly sung
The world is now less beautiful
Because the good die young

Goodbye, sweet child.
I weep for you, and for those left behind alone.

Like any parent, this is my greatest fear to lose a child. I have seen others go through it and not sure how they go on. Lovely tribute.

So sad, we mourn those who depart from us but we are left with memories that sustain us in our sorrow.
