Morning Sun

Morning Sun

Morning Sun

fragments of thought
masquerade
as clouds
the argent sea
gleams
like a diamond
at her throat
the parasol pines
awaken
in a gasp
of gourmet green
birds sing
the Hallelujah
paradise
inspired
by a sprinkle
of the most beautiful
of nature’s
wondrous gifts
the magic
of the morning sun
tentatively
touchingly
creeping
gently upwards
illuminating a sky
as blue as
her eyes
