AnElephantCant write about London
It is too long since he walks the banks of the Thames
So for this invitation
He changes location
To his home where the French play their games
This is a weekly invitation to write a short piece of fiction (c. 150 words) based on a photo prompt (below) provided by Alastair.

But please read AnElephant’s mental merry-go-round first.
Or perhaps you prefer to just Dodgem!
The proximity of the carousel is a source of concern and yet, paradoxically, crucial to the success of his mission.
He is determined, of course, that no harm befalls any of the children on or around it.
Or the young mothers in pretty summer dresses, chatting merrily as they watch their enfants, while only half listening to their delighted squeals.
If absolutely necessary, he must ensure that any fallout comes his way and not theirs.
He does not expect any repercussions, but he plans for them regardless.
He watches as his target, surrounded by his usual sun-glassed entourage, strolls across the boules courts, mindless of the players and their games.
None of this matters.
He is ready.
