I have to be honest, I really like the guy, always have done.
He is probably my best pal, known him since we were that high.
The things we used to get up to when we were kids!
Always in trouble, we were, first with our mums, then at that terrible school, then the police.
Aye, but changed days now, of course.
Listen, don’t mean to be rude, but I haven’t much time, need to go up and see him.
I want to make sure his knee gets better and he’ll be able to walk without those crutches.
But he is his own worst enemy, you know.
I mean, we were actually in the wee café in the square when he said that.
Total lack of respect, I thought.
And not too smart.
He knows I have a bit of a temper.
And yet he provokes me that way.
Dead stupid, isn’t it.
Hey, you really are new around here, aren’t you?
