you have always been so good to me
you are beautiful and kind
but your eyes no longer shine with joy
and I sadly am not blind

we both know that you don’t love me
I’m now not sure you ever did
any feelings you have left for me
are sadly too well hid

why can’t you tell me that it’s over
why not just once speak the truth please
free me from this misery
before my heart breaks into pieces

your smile has long since disappeared
I can’t remember your last touch
I miss your laughter every day
I love you angel far too much

If the other one don’t likes you more than you have to leave. Why stay and suffer? Is it a vocation? Great poem my friend 🙂

Dear Elephant, This story is so perfectly told! You are amazing, and I love this sad story! I hope they can part friends. Nan

  4. Boy oh boy Elephant, this made me very wistful since I’ve been that elephant myself many, many times. It’s always best, if you truly feel this is correct, to pack your trunk and leave. If you’re wrong, they’ll come find you, if not, so much better off in the long run because at the end of all those tears is always a rainbow filled with peanuts 🙂

    A powerful and painful statement.
